A.---- *It regulate the movement of substance in and out of the cell.
*This means that the plasma membrane allows the entry of some substances and prevents the movement of other materials.
B.----*This is because the higher concentration of water molecules is outside of the cell.
*So, the water molecules move from external solution into cell sap.
C.----*Vacuoles in plants are multifunctional organelles.
* They function as lytic compartments, reservoirs for metabolites, homeostasis, provide hydraulic stiffness etc.
*After growth, the plant cell has one large central vacuole.
*The volume of the cell filled by vacuole varies from cell to cell.
*Sometimes it can occupy more than half of the cell’s volume that is up to 80% of its volume.
