hlo mate ✌️

Coal burned in power stations contains carbon which combines with oxygen in the atmosphere to form carbon dioxide. The man-made (or anthropogenic) component of the greenhouse effect is caused by man's activities that emit greenhouse gases to the atmosphere.

The most important of these is the burning of fossil fuels.

hope it helps.

Greenhouse effect causes due to excessive burning of coal, because -

• Coal is one of the most used fossil fuels which contain a lot of carbon in it's chemical composition.

• This high amount of carbon, which is present in the coal,is converted into carbon dioxide gas by reacting with atmospheric oxygen, during the combustion of coal.

• This produced carbon dioxide gas is a well-known greenhouse gas which causes the greenhouse effect in our atmosphere and as a result the global warming increases.
