Give reason for " particles of potassium permanganate spread easily in water kept at room temperature but not in very cold water ".

This is because in cold water temperature is very low and the kinetic energy of water particles is low so particles of potassium permanganate spread slowly where as in room temperature water particles have kinetic energy more so it spread faster.
