2)We prefer to wear cotton and light coloures clothes in summer as cotton clothes do not allow much heat to enter the cloth and light colours reflect the heat.

3)Mercury is preffered in thermometer as it is a liquid and it's boiling point is very high

4)Sheeps are sheared in summer as in that time they can survive without fur and near winter there fur grows back
