1. 1) Solar energy is a renewable resource of energy as it can be used to produce electricity as long as the Sun exists. While thermal power is no-renewable source of energy because coal is used to generate electricity. 2) Solar energy is an alternative for fossil fuels as it is non-polluting and clean source of energy.
2. Water should not be thrown on fire caused by oil/petrol/gasoline etc because they are lighter than water so they continues to float over water hence continues to burn. So rather than controlling the fire it will spread the fire
3. The CNG cylinder is also stronger and sturdier than a petrol tank. Another notable thing is the ignition point of CNG is 540 °C, that is almost double the ignition point of petrol or diesel. The gas is also very less likely to light up in the air in case of a leak. This makes it safer than other fuel types
4. Coal is called a fossil fuel because it was made from plants that were once alive! Since coal comes from plants, and plants get their energy from the sun, the energy in coal also came from the sun. ... Over millions of years, the plants were buried under water and dirt.
