Hey mate !!
Here's the answer !!
Let me answer all your questions one by one
1. The glottis is guarded by Epiglottis.
Reason : This is because, both food and air take a common passage in the throat region. So to prevent food from entering into trachea, the opening of trachea and the epiglottis in the alimentary canal is guarded by the epiglottis.
2. The lung alveoli are covered with blood capillaries.
Reason : This is because for diffusion to take place the place of diffusion must be so thin and compact. Capillaries make this perfect for diffusion of gases as they are only one cell thick. Due to this diffusion of Oxygen and Carbon di oxide takes place smoothly.
3. The wall of trachea is supported by Rings of cartilage.
Reason : This is because when air enters inside it comes with a great force through our nostrils. On the other hand our trachea is weak and cannot withstand that amount of force. Hence they are covered by a protection called Rings of cartilage.
Hope my answer helped you !!
Cheers !!
