Answer:

a) The field will get  water logged and the crop cannot get sufficient water and air , as good aeration and warmth in the root zone are essential for proper plant growth. Bacteria that change organic matter into plant foods cannot get neccesary air and warm temperature in the soil .

b) If freshly harvested grains are stored without drying they may get spoilt or attacked by microorganism , lossing their germination capacity . Hence, before storing them the grains are properly dried in the sun to reduce moisture in them . This prevent the attack by insects, pests, bacteria, fungi.

c) The overuse of pesticides are very harmful for plant health , the consumpstion of pesticides by plant also effect the organisms body depending on plants .

A》Excess water supply can damage crops

➨Excessive water supply can reduce air in the soil space and can cause water logging. This can damage the plant roots and can cause them to die.

B》Grains are not stored without surfeiting

➨Harvested food grains often contain more moisture than is suitable for their storage. Hence, these grains are sun - dried before storing. This prevents growth of microbes on them.

C》Overuse of pesticides should be avoided.

➨Pesticides stick to fruits and vegetables, and are also absorbed by plants. They can, therefore, become a part of the food chain. It is for this reason that the use of pesticides must be kept to the bare minimum.
