1.)Handle in cooking utensils are made of plastic because on heating uteutensiit became hot as metal are good good conductor of heat where as plastic is a bad conductor of heat thus on heating utensils became hot but handle don not so as to easily to hold utensils.

2.)Backelite is a bad conductor of electricity and do not conduct electricity this it is safe to touch it thus electric switches are made of Backelite.
