Give reason for the following: (a) School bells are made up of metals.(b) Electrical wires are made up of copper.

(a) The purpose of school Bell is to remind people of timing. For this school bells are made of hard metals so that when it rings it can produce audible sound. On hearing that sound people can know about timings .
(b) In electrical wires purpose it to transmit electric current not making any sound thus easily available cheap soft metal like copper is used for that.

In both cases purpose is different thus different metals are used.

a)=> The purpose of making school bell of Metal because we know that Metals have sonorous property i.e. they can produce ringing sound and and students can hear that ringing and loud sound easily.

b)=> We know that Silver and Gold are the best conductor of heat and electricity but they are very expensive. So that a cheap and good quality of metal was made for Electricity and Heat. And also Copper are having property to pass electricity without any problems. So that, Copper are used as Wire in our home.
