1. The traditional thermometers contained mercury/ colored alcohol which is extremely lethal and leads to generate critical health issues. There is no such issue with digital thermometers.

2. The traditional thermometers were not able to measure accurate temperature since mercury appears down immediately. On the other hand, in the digital thermometers, the recorded temperature remains the same until we press the switch.
