Give reason for the following:
(i) Copper cannot displace zinc from its salt solution.
(ii) Aluminium foils are used to wrap foods items.
(iii) Sodium and potassium are stored in kerosene.
(iv) It is not good to store lemon pickle in an Aluminium vessel.
(v) LPG is a better domestic fuel than wood.

3 .sodium and pottasium are stored in kero seme because they burn when came in contact with air amd water

1)this displacement reaction does not take place because copper metal is less reactive than zinc metal.
3)sodium is very reactive metal. it reacts with moisture, oxygen, and other gases present in air. so if sodium is exposed to air it willl react with the various component of air and get spoiled. potassium metal is also highly reactive .so potassium metal is also stored in kerosene.
4)we cannot store lemon pickle in an aluminum vessel. this is because the acid present in lemon will react with aluminum metal of vessel to form toxic salts which can make us sick and damage to your helth.
