Hello mate,

Here is your answer,

1. The stars twinkle in the night sky because of the effects of our atmosphere. When starlight enters our atmosphere it is affected by winds in the atmosphere and by areas with different temperatures and densities.( In short it's atmospheric refraction of light)

2. The planets are much closer, inside our solar system. The light coming from them nullifies to zero when they enter the earth's atmosphere. Therefore, they don't twinkle.

3. The stars seem to be higher in the sky than they actually are due to atmospheric refraction.

HOPE THIS HELPS UU :)

AND STAY BLESSED.
