Naphthalene balls disappear with time without leaving any solid because they undergo sublimation i.e., they directly change into vapour without passing through the liquid state

it sublimes at room temperature so it disappears.But everyone thinks that it directly changes into gaseous state but it is wrong it liquifies for sometime but does not remains in the liquid state it suddenly vapourises
