Give reason for the following question:

1 A ball of paper will fall faster than a sheet of
paper

Answer 1- Because the air friction will be felt more on the sheet of paper due to having more surface area than a ball of paper.

Answer 2- Because air friction is felt more on a surface with a larger surface area.

Answer 3- During rainy season, friction on the roads is reduced as layer of water covers the road which makes the surface slippery and motorbike tyres find it difficult to hold the ground.

Answer 4- That's because both the objects will drop with similar velocity (9.8 m/s if air friction is neglected) and since time is indirectly proportional to distance,the object dropped from the lower height will reach the ground first.
