sodium chloride did not conduct electricity because it is in the form of solid and neutral compound.

Solid Sodium Chloride Does Not Conduct Electricity While Sodium Chloride Solution Conducts Because Solid Sodium Chloride Does Not Get Ionised To Conduct Electricity.
