1. When any object falls from a height, it falls with some energy generated due to acceleration due to gravity. In case of rock, due to its appearance, it makes a deeper impression on surfaces. In light surface like sand or water, it is more visible.
2. Plants absorbs the light energy from sun and prepares food using inorganic materials and we all know how plant food is important for the food chain. This food energy sustains life on earth directly to herbivores and indirectly to carnivores. Thus, light energy helps in the sustenance of life on earth.
3. In roler coaster, the ride is not constant path, as it moves from various up and down. This forms a chain of energy reaction, where the total energy is constant, but it shuffles between kinetic and potential energy. Thus kinetic and potential energy keeps on changing according to the position to make total energy constant.
4. Water stored in dams is in very huge quantity and stored at a height. When the water is released from dam tankers, the water stored falls from a height in form of potential energy. This huge potential energy now converts to kinetic energy by rotation of the blade of turbines. As water stored in large quantity and at a height, this mechanical process is possible.
