1 : a sheet of paper fall slower than on that crumped in to a ball because force of friction on a sheet of paper affect greatly because surface area of sheet of paper face great opposition by the air on the other hand crumped paper face small friction by the air and reached soon on the earth than sheet of paper

2 : displacement can be negative positive and zero but distance always positive because displacement is a vector quantity in Which direction is important displacement for opposite direction is negative but distance is jus distance which is quantity that cannot be negative
