evaporation :: The process by which water changes into water vapour and enters the atmosphere is called evaporation.There is no the name the fact that evaporation takes place at all times and at all temperatures but the rate of evaporation depends on the on a number of factors such as -temperature, degree of dryness of the air, and movement of the air.

Evaporation is caused by temperature of heat. Hot air can evaporate more water than the cold air .Dry air has greater capacity to absorb water vapour then moist air. Again,the rate of evaporation is more when strong winds blow on a calm day it is the lowest .

Evaporation gain heat from the surrounding as a result there is a loss of heat in the surrounding the cooling process start and the surface become cool. This is the reason why evaporation produce cooling.
