Give reason for your answer that cartilage can be added between bones to ease movement of joints

Cartilage cushions joints and helps them move smoothly and easily. A membrane called the synovium produces a thick fluid that helps keep the cartilage healthy. The synovium can become inflamed and thickened as wear and tear on the cartilage occurs.

cartilage is a firm flexible supportive connective tissue in which the solid matrix has fluid lacunae having 1-4 living cells . these cells are called chondrocytes. cartilage forms a soft endo skeleton of the body . matrix is made up of protein sugar complex chondrin which is secreted by chondrocytes

it is present in between the bone because cartilage provides support and flexibility to various body parts because of its flexibility,pinna can be folded without breaking .

it also prevents frictional wear and tear of bone tips by forming their articular surfaces.

it also act as cushion against the stress.
