Gold and silver are less reactive and found in the bottom of rectivity series .... They do not react with water and oxygen... Thus we us gold and silver for making jewelry....

Gold and silver are low reactive metal. it do not react with oxygen and dont from oxide layer around like other metals.
so it is lustrous and it is used to make jewellery.
