1. The first & foremost reason for using copper & aluminium wires for transmission of electric current is - both cu and al are good conductors of electricity. That is they don't offer much resistance to the flow of electricity. Second reason is that both metals are very ductile rendering them to be drawn into thin wires .

2. Tungsten is used for making filament of an electric bulb due to the following reasons: Being an alloy it has a very high melting point. It has very high resistivity so it does not burn easily at room temperature. The lamp glows at high temperatures.

3.Electromagnets have the main benefit of manipulating their magnetic pull strength – both by turning the magnet on or off and by adjusting the current. They also feature greater pull strength than permanent magnets. Some estimates place the largest electromagnet at 20 times stronger than the strongest permanent magnet.
