Answer:

The melting point of Ice at standard temperature pressure (stp) is 0°C

The normal room temperature is 24-30°C

therefore when ice is kept at room temperature, it(ice) releases heat causing drop in temperature of ice.

So ice changes into water when kept in room temperature.
