In summary, the transfusion of red blood cells group 0 in subjects A, B, AB does not hesitate in the hemolytic reaction for two reasons: (i) as in the Bijay answer, the dilution factor of the donor's anti-A-B antibodies caused by the high volume of plasma of the recipient. (ii)The absence of A-B antigens on the donor's red blood cells, which cannot, therefore, be hemolyzed by the recipient's antibodies.
