GiVe reason. In case of contrUction of a building we find everyday the height of the building gose on increasing. can it be called a living bieng

Although the under construction building shows growth it can't be called a living being because it is not growing due to any metabolic activities (such as:-blood circulation e.t.c.) it is growing due to some external events

No , It cannot be called as a human being being it is non living and man has to do efforts to increase the height of building... But in living beings we do not have to do such efforts....
