Light intensity :- greater light intensity increases the rate of transpiration because it causes the stomata to open, so increasing evaporation through the stomata.

During the day, the intensity of light is more which opens the stomata to facilitate the inward diffusion of CO2 for photosynthesis which increases the rate and thus more transpiration occurs during the daytime. At night the stomatal pores are closed due to no presence of light rays so least transpiration occurs at night while on cloudy day the stomata are partially closed due to less presence of light rays therefore transpiration is reduced
