Its very easy

Falling on a sofa would prevent most injuries because it has soft cushions on it which helps to soak the momentum and help to land safely where as cemented road doesn't have anything to protect you from falling it will be a certain death if falling from a large height, and cemented road also doesn't have anything like a sofa to prevent injuries.
