Photosynthesis occurs in the leaves. Photosynthesis is the process by which plants in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll make Glucose and O2 . This glucose is stored as Starch in the plants and later used when necessary . Hence the leaves where photosynthesis mainly occurs is called the Factory of a plant.
