In some mammals ex. camel RBCs are nucleated. Mature red blood cells (RBCs) do not possess nucleus along with other cell organelles such as mitochondria, Golgi apparatus and endoplasmic reticulum in order to accommodate greater amount of haemoglobin in the cells.
