Liveworts or mosses are non vascular plants which do not have water conductive tissues made up of xylem or phloem
- They live in and marshy areas of land . Thats the reason it cant complete its sexual life cycle under dry condition,they are adapted to the warm mosit conditions
- they need wateer to complete their sexual life cycle .The sperm cells of bryophytes are flagellate and needswater or any other moist condition to swim
