Answer:

the density of wooden log 965 kg/m³. ... Density of coin is more and it has high density so it's volume is low. Density of wooden log is less and it has lesser density so it's volume is high. therefore A rupee coin and a wooden log thrown in water, the wooden log float.

=》The mass per unit volume of a substance is called density (density = mass/volume).

=》As the volume of a substance increases, its density decreases.

=》The density of water is 997 kg/m³ which is nearly equal to 1000 kg/m³.

=》The density of wooden log is 965 kg/m³.

and the density of coin is 3.09 kg/m³.

  • Density of coin is more and it has high density so it's volume is low.
  • Density of wooden log is less and it has lesser density so it's volume is high.

Therefore when a rupee coin and a wooden log is thrown in water, the wooden log floats on the surface of water.
