Give reason of the following---

1- The glottis is guarded by epiglottis.

2- The lung alveoli are covered with blood capillaries.

3- The wall of trachea is supported by cartilage rings.

1 the glottis is guarded by epiglottis because when we take in our food glottis closes the windpipe and pushes the food into food pipe that is oesophagus
2 the lung alveoli are covered with blood capillaries because to increase the observe to area so that is more oxygen can be taken into lungs
3 the wall of trachea is supported by cartilage rings protect the trachea from collapsing during inhalation and exhalation they are ring like structures around trachea which support it when air is not filled
