Every planet has its different size and it is located at a varying distance from the sun.

The gravitational pull taking place between the planet and sun depends upon the size as well as distance of the planet & hence it affects the speed of revolution and rotation of the planet around its own axes and around the sun.

Every planet moves in a fixed (almost) circular orbit around the Sun separated from each other by some distance, moving in almost parallel paths. This is the reason why they do not collide, although it can happen due to external gravitational disturbances.
