Give Reason

Plants take in oxygen and give out carbon dioxide during respiration all the time. Why do we then say the plants supply oxygen to the air?

Answer:

Plants take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen during day time and take in oxygen and give out carbon dioxide at night time. Hence, the oxygen supplied them is used by us.
