We know that same charges repel to each other but opposite charges attract to each other we can explain this test by using this concept.

If we carry any charged body to uncharged body then there will be induced current generated on the neutral body as because of opposite charges.

But in this case there will be attraction as because of opposite charges but the body uncharged. Hence we can say that repulsion is a sure test of electrification.
