A wing is shaped and tilted so the over it moves faster than the under it. As speeds up, its pressure goes down. So the faster- above exerts less pressure on the wing than the slower- below. The result is an upward push on the wing—!

Air provides a lift as it decreases pressure and provides pressure in opposite direction.
