Growing a single crop continually on a specific piece of land might adversely deplete the soils of the nutrients which are needed by that specific crop & hence the yield of the crop will be decreased within time.
Therefore, it is not advised to grow single crop in the agricultural land rather you can cultivate different crops in routine manner.
