It will be tap water ^^"

So why tap water conducts electricity while distilled water does not ?

Answer :

Tap water is impure containing several impurities.

It has dissolved salts , iron and various other impurities too .

Thus the presence of impurity in tap water helps in conduction of electricity as we know that impurities increase the conductance in case of water .

Distilled water cannot conduct electricity because it is completely pure.

As water is not a good conductor of electricity in pure state , the distilled water is not a good conductor .

the tap water conducts electricity this can be explained as the tap water contains many impurities in it for example it contains sodium potassium and other also minerals and metals which can conduct electricity by breaking into ions

but the distilled water is pure it doesn't contain any impurity so it is impossible to conduct electricity from as their is no any ions it will not conduct electricity

hope you understand ❤️❤️❤️
