By the latent heat of fusion the water vapor partical are smaller than water practical so they go inside our skin and cause severe burn then water

This is because water at 100°c do not have more energy.As this energy get used in changing its state.

Now notice that vapours already have energy at 100°c and they've got more energy in form of latent heat.

That's why water vapour have more energy than water at same temperature.
