Answer:

Transpiration is useful to plants because

1) transpiration helps in:

Maintaining the turgidity of the plant cells.

Ingresses CO2 for photosynthesis.

It also increases the nutrient uptake by a plant.

Transpiration cools the plants by the exothermic release of energy in the form of vapours from the leaf cells into the atmosphere.

2) stomata in desert plants like cactus remain closed during the day because

This is so because of very high temperatures and scarcity of water in deserts. During the day time the stomata remain closed to avoid the loss of water but at night when the temperatures reduce the stomata opens to carry out photosynthesis. Such behaviour of stomata is an adaptation of plants for the survival in places like deserts.

3)There are other excreatory products in plants O2 and CO2 because

Plants need to excrete excess carbon dioxide and oxygen. Carbon dioxide is a waste product of aerobic respiration in plant cells. Oxygen is a waste product of photosynthesis. Unlike animals, plants do not have specialised excretory organs. Excess carbon dioxide and oxygen are excreted from the plant through the stomata in the leaves.

4) Double circulation of blood is necessary in human beings because

It is necessary for a human being to separate oxygenated and de-oxygenated blood because this makes their circulatory system more efficient and maintains constant body temperature.

5) gastric gland play an important role in digestion on food in humans because

The gastric glands secrete hydrochloric acid and gastric juice which help in digestion of food. The enzyme pepsin present in the gastric juice acts on the proteins of the food and breaks them into smaller units called peptones and proteoses. The food then passes into the small intestine. It is the largest gland of the body.

6) ventricles have thicker  muscular wall because

The ventricles of the heart have thicker muscular walls than the atria. This means that they have multiple layers of tissue in their walls as compared to the atria. This is because blood is pumped out of the heart at greater pressure from these chambers compared to the atria.

7) more energy is released in aerobic respiration because

In aerobic respiration, complete breakdown of glucose takes place, therefore more energy is released. Aerobic respiration releases 38 ATPs, which is 19 times greater than 2 ATPs that are released during anaerobic respiration.

hope it helps
