give reason- Why are copper and aluminium metals used as connecting wire?

they are good conductor , have low resistance, cheap ,good metal have favorable features

copper and aluminium is used as conducting wires or conductors as it has less resistance than compared to other metals and conduct electricity easily than others.
among copper and aluminium, aluminium has less resistance.
silver has lesser resistance than these both but being expensive it is not used in wire making
