These lines are known as Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn.

They play different roles in controlling the weather conditions of the places that lies around or across these lines.

India being a huge country, many places lie around the Tropic of Cancer and many around the Tropic of Capricorn. T

he places that lie mid-way can see the sun overhead, twice in a year.

Bhopal being in middle of both these lines can see the sun twice a year and Japan cannot.
