Hi saku!!

Camphor is a substance which is capable of directly turning into vapours from its former vapour state.
So on heating, it undergoes sublimation and turns into vapours without undergoing the liquid state..

Hope that clears your doubt..

due to sublimation; a process in which solid directly converts into vapour without changing into liquid state and vice versa
camphor too is a substance which gets sublime on heating that's why while heating camphor it gets directly converted into vapour

hope it will help u !!
