Give reason why one KG of water at 0 degrees Celsius contains more energy than one KG of ice at0°C

We know that liquid have more energy than solids i.e their particles have more kinetic energy....
Moreover , during conversion of water into ice, energy is lost in form of latent heat of solidification..

because the ice has been converted in water by absorbing heat
therefore ,water contain more heat than ice at 0 degree celcius
As heat is a form of energy
therefore , water contàìn more energy than ice
