Visible moment cannot be used as the defining character for life. Plants doesn't generally shows any visible movement. They remain stationary all the time and they generally do not show any movement. But they are living. Similarly there are various other cases where this is applicable. Thus we can show that visible movement cannot be used as the defining character for life.
