GIVE REASON WHY : ( PLEASE HELP, ANSWERS NEEDED URGENTLY ) (i) Gold is found free state but iron is not.(ii) Sodium react with cold water where as iron is does not(iii) Copper cannot replace iron from its salt solution(iv) Copper is used for making electrical wire while silver is not(v) Cooking utensils are metal whereas their handles arewooden(vi) Sodium is stored in kerosene(vii) White phosphorus is stored in water(viii) Gold and silver are suitable for making jewellery

see reactivity series....1-gold is a noble metal and very less reactive 2-Na is highly reactive wrt Fe 3-Cu is below in reactivity order than Fe so 4-silver is highly expensive but it is better conductor.. expanse is the limitations of Ag 5- metals are conductor so helps in cooking but handle should be insulator so that we can hold it 6-Na is very reactive in atmosphere and it can be hazardous..it doesn't, react in kerosene 7-sane for white phosphorus 8-noble metals, shinny lustre....

1. Gold comes at the bottom of the reactivity series and iron comes above, that's why.
2. Sodium is more reactive as well as a strong alkali metal so reacts even with cold water where as iron does not as it comes below sodium in reactivity series.
3. Iron is more reactive than copper that's why.
4. copper is used instead of silver as silver is a precious metal as well as very expensive and copper is also good conductor of electricity as well as it is cheap.
5. Cooking utensils are metallic as metals are good conductor of heat whereas their handles are made of wood as wood is a bad conductor of heat and will prevent us from burning our hands.
6. Sodium comes at the top of reactivity series and therefore kept in kerosene in order to prevent it from reactions and store it in native form.
8. Gold and Silver are used in jewellery making as they are highly lustrous, ductile and melliable as well as least reactive.
