Surface temperature in Bay of Bengal is normally between 22°C and 31ºC.
It is cooler by maximum of 1-2ºC in the Arabian Sea.
Near the Arabian Sea the Salinity is very much high than the Bay of Bengal and it gets less river runoff as compared to the Bay of Bengal of India.

Surface temperature in the Bay of Bengal is usually between 22°C and 31ºC. ... Salinity near the surface in theArabian Sea is much higher than in theBay of Bengal because evaporation over the Arabian Sea is much greaterand it receives relatively less river runoff.
