Give reason why sedimentary rocks are called secondary rocks

Sedimentary rocks are formed from sediments,derived from breaking down of pre existing rocks.The sediments are transported to new places and deposited in new arrangement and cemented to form secondary rocks.These rocks also called as stratified or aqueous rocks
