if you will keep them in sunlight, they will decompose ($photodecomposition$)

Here is an example of photo decomposition-

$2AgCl_{s}--^{sunlight}-->2Ag_{s} + Cl_{2}_{(g)}$

you see? If you would have kept this salt ($AgCl$) in sunlight, it would have decomposed.

Not only for  $AgCl$  but all silver salts :)
