Answer: Because bro,

if you will keep them in sunlight, they will decompose (photodecomposition)

Here is an example of photo decomposition-

2AgCl_{s}--^{sunlight}-->2Ag_{s} + Cl_{2}_{(g)}

you see? If you would have kept this salt (AgCl) in sunlight, it would have decomposed.

Not only for  AgCl  but all silver salts :)
