At the melting point the solid and liquid state are in dynamic equilibrium , i.e, the particles are constantly converting from one form to another at a constant rate . This is why solid and liquid coexist at melting point .

Answer:

The temperature at which solid and liquid states coexist together is called the Melting point.

Explanation:

At melting points, solid & liquid exist in a dynamic equilibrium. Then the both particles convert into one form to another at a constant rate.         pls mak as brainliest thank u and have a nice time
