Hey friend,

One of the factors which affects the climate of a place is the moderating influence of sea!
India is surrounded with water bodies on three sides. The differential rate of heating and cooling of landmass causes land and sea breezes...
So the climate of coastal areas is modified by the influence of these breezes but places in the interior are far away from moderating influence of these breezes. And so they have very hot summers and very cold winters!

Hope it helps!

Answer:

Explanation:

The continental interiors away from any water bodies so they cannot experience the moderating effect of the water bodies through land and sea breeze hence being away they face extremes of summer and winter
